27th August, 2003 - Dwitiya Shaahi Snaan

              YES!!! The most awaited "Maha-suvarna yog Shaahi Snaan" of 27th August, 2003 was completed successfully amidst an overwhelmingly huge crowd of Vaishanavs from all over the world.

             The coincidence of the occurrence of all the three "devas" - the Sun, Moon and Jupiter - together at a time - the moment when actually a drop from the Amrut Kalash fell at Nashik, at which a dip in the holy waters is said to produce immense good luck and prosperity, washing away all sins, was on the 27th of August, 2003. The effect continues as such for 52  hours for an area spanning 1 mile from the place where the drop fell.

              Though the place where the drop actually fell remains a topic of debate it is believed by most to be at RAMKUND at RAMGHAT in Nashik on the banks of River Godavari.

             As predicated by Shri Vallabhpith Shri Kumbh Mahaprava Samiti, Nashik a huge Shobha yatra left from Shri Vallabhpith Shri Mahaprabhuji Baithakji, along with Sukhpal of

AKHAND BHOOMANDALA ACHARYA  JAGADGURU MAHAPRABHU SHRIMAD VALLABHACHARYAJI,

behind which followed

Nasik Tirthshetra Pithadipati Shri Vallabhpithadhishwar H. H. Goswami108 SHRI RAMESH KUMARJI (Shri Revtiramanji) MAHARAJSHRI,

Shri Vallabhyuvraj H.H.Goswami SHRI PARESH KUMARJI (Shri Raghunathji) BAWASAHEB

&

H.H. Goswami 108 Shri Shamsunderji Maharajshri (Borivali).

along with an overcrowded and enthusiastic Vaishnav samudaya. From Shri Mahaprahuji Baithakji the shobha led towards Ramghat. With immense police force at work and complete co-ordination, first THE PADUKAJI OF SHRI MAHAPRABHUJI were bathed in the River Godavari. Then one by one all the Balaks, Bahujis & Betijis took a dip in the river.  Then the yatra retraced the path to the BAithakji. All along the yatra, Kiratans and Jai-kars by Kairtanyas and vaishanavs filled the air with an joyful and and pleasing sound.
